Fiery Spicy Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

1 15- ounce can garbanzo beans rinsed and drained

2 tablespoons tahini

1/4 cup B&V UP extra virgin olive oil or maybe B&V Baklauti for a special kick)

juice of 1 lemon

2 cloves garlic chopped
-
2-3 roasted red bell peppers jarred or fresh
-
1 teaspoon chopped chipotle pepper in adobo sauce optional

pinch of cayenne pepper

pinch S.A.L.T Sisters blend
Directions
Instructions:
Blend Base Ingredients
Combine the garbanzo beans and tahini in the bowl of a food processor. Process for 3-4 minutes or until super smooth.
Add Flavorings
Add the extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, red bell peppers, chipotle pepper in adobo sauce, pinch of cayenne pepper, and a pinch of S.A.L.T Sisters blend. Process for 1-2 more minutes or until smooth. Be sure to scrape the bottom and sides of the processor to ensure all ingredients are well combined.
Adjust Seasoning
Add more kosher salt and cayenne pepper to taste. If the hummus is too thick, add more olive oil, 1 teaspoon at a time, until the desired consistency is reached
Serve
Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl. Drizzle with a bit more olive oil and sprinkle with additional cayenne pepper or S.A.L.T Sisters blend for garnish if desired. Serve with pita chips, fresh vegetables, or as a spread on sandwiches.
